Independence Care is a non-profit healthcare organization with extensive experience in providing medical and personal care services. Our organisation was established eight years ago and has continued to flourish within the care network of Australia since this foundation. Independence Care is a registered and authorised NDIS and TAC agent. As a service provider and coordinator of NDIS level 1 and 2 services, including plan management, Independence Care specialises in travelling with care, mental health services and spinal cord injuries. Our highly skilled and qualified support workers provide in-home and community care services tailored to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities and the elderly.
As an NDIS service provider and TAC registered disability provider, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional support services to our participants while upholding our core values of responsiveness, personalised care, adaptability, sustainability, and patient autonomy.
Our aim is to provide a customised and timely service that meets the unique needs and goals of each participant, understanding that every participant is different and may face varying challenges.
In addition, we are committed to achieving long-term outcomes for our participants by promoting participant empowerment, informed decision-making, and ongoing support to facilitate participant agency.
Our commitment to excellence and our willingness to undertake complex care cases have established us as a leading provider in the healthcare support network. We believe that every participant deserves access to the best possible care, and we are committed to working closely with healthcare providers to ensure the highest level of care for all participants, even though who present with the highest level complexity.
Independence Care seeks to collaborate with medical professionals to establish a network that can provide optimal care for individuals in need throughout Australia.
What distinguishes Independence Care from other NDIS providers is our founding philosophy rooted in the personal experiences of individuals with disabilities. Our establishing members have disabilities themselves as these members are wheelchair users. This has equipped us with a deep understanding of the specific requirements and care needed, as well as areas of attention. When being supported by Independence Care, a meeting with these founding members is a crucial requirement of your induction. Within this meeting, our founders will obtain an understanding of the complexities of your individual care needs and tailor a plan incorporating all elements that are of prominence to your lifestyle.
At Independence Care, we understand the importance of uninterrupted and comprehensive care for our clients, which is why our team of skilled professionals is available 24/7 to provide the highest quality care. Our commitment to providing top-tier care ensures that our clients receive the necessary support, be it medical or daily living activities, at all times.
When you entrust and partner with Independence Care, you can be assured of our unwavering commitment to provide personalised support and care that aligns with your specific requirements. This trust can be extended to professionals and clinics who contract Independence Care to clients, as our philosophy continues within all facets of our establishment.
Our organisation is also qualified and entrusted with the prestigious International standard certification – ISO 9001. ISO 9001 is an international standard certification that sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS). It is designed to help organizations ensure that their products and services consistently meet the needs of their customers and other relevant stakeholders.
In the context of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), ISO 9001 certification can provide assurance that a service provider has implemented an effective QMS to consistently deliver high-quality services that meet the needs and expectations of NDIS participants. This can help to ensure that NDIS participants receive safe, effective, and person-centred support that is aligned with the goals outlined in their individual plans.
